Our story

Fragrance should feel like coming home.

Abhishek Joshi spent many years working in the Middle East, a part of the world where fragrance is never an afterthought. It is how people greet one another, welcome a guest and mark an occasion. Oud smoke drifts through homes, attars are worn to gatherings and celebrations, and a good scent is always the finishing touch. Perfume and fashion were his quiet passions all along. He learned to tell a fragrance that shouts for attention from one that simply stays with you, and he never stopped searching for the second kind. Now back in India, he saw the same gap again and again: fragrances that felt luxurious cost a fortune, and the affordable ones were easy to forget. Sukoon is his answer. The name means calm, the feeling when something simply feels right. Every scent here is chosen to bring that feeling home, at a price that lets you wear it every day.

What is an attar?
Attar is a traditional concentrated perfume oil, applied to the skin with a small dab. It is worn close to the body and develops slowly through the day.
What is the difference between attar and perfume?
Perfume is an alcohol-based spray with a bigger first impression. Attar is an oil: softer, closer to the skin, and often longer-lasting on you. Many people wear both.
How do I apply attar?
Put a small amount on clean, dry skin at your wrists, neck and behind the ears. Do not rub the wrists together. A little goes a long way.
How do I make my fragrance last longer?
Apply to moisturised skin, target pulse points, and store the bottle away from heat and direct sunlight.
How long does delivery take?
